photoblog image Swiss tramp - Vevey
I couldn't believe my luck and was terrified he'd wake up and tell me off.  Funnily enough he didn't move and I then felt guilty that he may have been dead!  but hey -  this was Switzerland and they wouldn't leave him there....would they?

idleye says ...... Hi!
And next time .. get closer (or zoom up) Or if there are enough pixels .. crop tight - the poster and the guy.
Potential here for a really good pic - the postures echo each other and you really don't need all the contextual stuff in the mid to background. Just go with the idea of 'well-being' and have some fun.
Barbara: I'll try the cropping...thanks

Welcome to Shutterchance and congrats on your new photoblog. This photo is really comical. Though I think it can be improved if you also have a cute girl as your model. wink
Barbara: Thanks!

nice amusing shot, yea a tighter crop would provide more impact
Barbara: I had better get photoshopin..hadn't I? Ta

I disagree with the others about cropping the photo...i think the tramp's background(the bus shelter, the rubish bin, the indication that he is in a "developed country" himself...) tells a story in itself about the his lifestyle and aspirations, the same way the poster model's background accentuates her lifestyle and aspirations. These two images in juxtaposition with each other are a socio-economic essay. There is also the "small issue" that being my big sister, i have to admire everything you do!
Barbara: Bless you!

Nice shot....I would have cropped it though, there's enough between the tramp and the poster behind him.

Welcome to shutterchance.
Barbara: The master says I should crop...I will crop

I'm no master at all. I'm only blessed with a good camera, good mentor (Skee) and great moments. wink

Lol, the dude was zoned out. Welcome to shutterchance....If Suby were here he'd ask you to select the red smiley for BRUTAL feedback. Just kidding about the brutal bit lol
Barbara: Well hopefully not dead. Don't think I'm ready for Suby!

The dude was trying to re-enact the woman in the poster's scene/pose heheh - or what do you feel? I'm loving the poster in the back together with the guy.
Barbara: I think it was purely coincidental...well I would rather that were the case!
