Like the colors not to sure about the big smokestack thingies. Where is the car photo?smile

Interesting shot.
My only but is the slanting chimney stack. I would straigthened it.
Barbara: Yes, but I think if I straightened that, the horizon would have slanted instead...or is there another way round this?

I really like this. The sky is sinister and the perspective awkward. I feel that if you looked at it too long you would fall off your chair.
Barbara: and that appeals to you comrade doesn't it?

i am such a sucker for these types of photos i find it hard to critique any of the photos of them. i bet if you had been there 10 minutes earlier the entire arc of clouds that lead you back into the photo would of been on glowing. i dont mind the composition with the stacks in the front. the way the clouds cross over the top of them completes the capture. nice job.
Barbara: Thanks Stephen.. I liked, glad someone else does!

I actually liked this. I did feel that the smokestacks were competing for attention with the clouds and sky but I'd have to be able to take better pictures to criticise with legitimacy.
