photoblog image The view from my lounger
I'm back and I think I'm rested (well darker and fatter at least!) now I'll bore you all with my holiday snaps..should I show you dozens of lovely white beaches, turquoise waters and golden sunsets? Nah...I think you'll find loads of those if you wish, here are some other takes of Barbados......
Zebigleb from France 14 Aug 2006, 09:38
Welcome back, best moments have an end ! smile
Very unusual view indeed. Like the composition of it. smile
Barbara: C'est vrai. Merci Zeb.

Hello U may not have heard of me.............. I am the enforcer. I am very close to dishing out a photo slap on u, but Ur ShMood thingy is not allowing me........................ this is hard........
SLAP!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't help, its my nature. What was the point of this shot? it doesn't speak to me, it seems very random. I've seen ur archive so I know ur good and can even get get better. I await ur other holiday photos
Yea Barbara U just got photo slapped, welcome back. hahahahahahaha
Barbara: What an irritating welcome back. I certainly don't think it's random..I'm about to post a series of holiday snaps and started with the corny sun bathing perspective. A slap back to you for ignoring schmoods AND for making comments from behind the cowardly veil of anonymity...let the battle begin!

Great too have you back! hope you had a wonderful holiday smile

The only thing I don't like bout this shot is the horizontal bar across the image,Barbados, wow, lucky you smile

Skee's been away for awhile as well, and in that time, "the enforcer", has been going around, hey, only Skee has that right, lol. So dude, show us you stuff, and let Skee decide smile
Barbara: Thanks Skee...I was trying to use the balustrade to divide the sky from the sea...guess it was a bit much with the boat and pontoon as well..

Good to see you back Barb!!!!!!!! smile!! hope you had a great time
Barbara: Thanks Petra...I's a beautiful island.

I could enjoy that view for a week. Looks like a fabulous place to enjoy some beautiful weather.
Barbara: We were lucky with the started raining the day we left!

Welcome back Aunty bars, I thought you did not like me no more, no emails, no nothing, good it was hard sad LOL

Anyway, I see you have been slapped by the "Enforcer" (he dared step to the daddy but I showed him/her who the Daddy was - ME OFCOURSE)

My boys are currently canvassing the environs for this enforcer, Enforcer will soon be found

Cool shot

Barbara: Haba if! You know, I did leave a note saying I was going away t wink

I actually like the framing Mrs K, welcome back !!
Barbara: Thanks do I

Yẹni from Great Britain (UK) 14 Aug 2006, 13:57
is this meant to be a swimming pool?
Barbara: It's a pontoon for sunbathing on.

Yẹni from Great Britain (UK) 14 Aug 2006, 13:59
I love comic images...this is definitely one of them I GIVE THIS IMAGE A 10/10
Barbara: I was trying to portray a few things..the empty pontoon and the ship moving away were supposed to reflect the end of the holiday. I then tried to get too clever by using the balustrade as a divider b'n the sea and the sky...hey ho...

kk 14 Aug 2006, 14:07
Looks amazing, hope it was as amazing as it looks!
Barbara: Hi KK, it was ...nice quiet hotel - Cobblers Cove. Also was there for Crop Over (Carnival) good contrast!

Sidney 14 Aug 2006, 14:22
Not the usual holiday picture! I also give it a 10/10 for originality.
Barbara: Thanks Sidney, will take that as a compliment then! wink

Welcome back Barb. Looks like you had a good holiday. Sunshine, blue water, cloudless sky and a nice lounge chair to relax in. I am jealous.

kk 14 Aug 2006, 18:30

Hi Barbara, looks like you had a good holiday, welcome back. As a photo, I'm not too keen on the balustrade. As a view from a lounger, it sure beats anything I've seen for a while and I'd definitely put up with the balustrade! Looking forward to seeing more.

e etomi from Nigeria 14 Aug 2006, 23:01
Ha Ha tell the enforcer Barbara!!!! Welcome back.

Jide Alakija 15 Aug 2006, 15:30
Welcome back BB! Nice colour. What's that in the way of my lovely view?
Barbara:'s the balustrade..I was trying to use it to divide the sea and the sky...seems it hasn't been a success!

Hi Barbie,

You have some great shots of Barbados as well. Love the way you divided the frame here. I'll have to fish the one I took of you and your friend when you were boarding the boat and send it to you.

Barbara: Hey..look forward to seeing it
