To steal Suby's line... "Stonking shot!"... so simple, but so great... unique, great sky, good tone and balance, i would personally be inclined to play with the contrast a bit more, but i'm a big fan of high contrast for stuff like this... smile

Barbara: yes... it does lack contrast somewhat..and that seems to be a problem I have...hey ho...funny you should say the ship can't dock...this place is famous for repelling an invasion from Cromwell's gang...

Great shot Barbara, can't remember seeing this pier when I was out there but then I have a memory of a gold fish !
Barbara: Thanks - You know there is a lot of renovation going on. I was told that the Chinese workers we saw working at the caves, had also done renovation work in Speightstown...perhaps this was part of it.

I really like this! Did you heed the warning signs or did you venture further out?
Barbara: nah...too many rum punches to dare venture any further!

The enforcer 16 Aug 2006, 12:12
Yesterday I dared Barbara to put a stonking shot, guess what? she answered the call and put up a stonking shot. I like this very much and I'm glad you put it, see I'm not all bad.
Barbara: hmmm....this is almost the exact replica of a comment from the Subster a while back.....hmmmm

I find digital tends to be slightly on the flat side in general.. Just put a slight S shaped curve (put one point on the lower third of the curve and pull it down slightly, and one on the upper third and pull it up slightly, so that the centre of the curve is still at the centre of the little graph thing...) on it and bingo insta contrast! smile Give it a try...

and the shot posted for Suby on my blog, is a response to his post of that woman from yesterday.... I'm going for the opposite end of the spectrum to his worn down look smile

Barbara: k..I'll try this at home then.
