View from Table Mountain

Paul 24 Nov 2006, 10:21
In a word: WOW! You could almost turn it upside down and it would still be awesome!
Barbara: Thanks Paul!

Angela 24 Nov 2006, 10:26

Fantastic... how long did you have to wait for the right light? It's like an impressionist painting.
Barbara: Didn't wait at all it was purely fortuitous....

Funkazi 24 Nov 2006, 10:48
wow !...Babs , you have really come on with this photography passion of yours !

I looooove the picture because the subject is truly a snapshot of the awesomeness of nature and for me , the crack in the sky is not merely the sun rays burning a hole through the clouds but God's glory pouring over the earth ! .......I want it !!!! (the picture that is !)
Barbara: xxxx.... of course you may have the pic...I'll give to you for Christmas!

Angela 24 Nov 2006, 10:51

My dear friend

This is breathtaking. You are getting quite professional at this now. I think you should have a portfolio and get ready for an exhibition.
Barbara: Thanks Ada, unfortunately this is more a matter of luck than skill for me...and there are hundreds and hundreds with far more interesting shots..(and this is NOT false modesty), but I'm happy you like this.

Adaora 24 Nov 2006, 18:48
You know I have been looking at the clouds and trying to interprete them. Since I was a child I have always had fun forming images when I look at them.

This one looks like an angry eagle blowing fire unto the earth, but the water saves us! Ha! Should I give up my day job?
Barbara: erm....
